What the Biden administration should take on China to combat Covid-19?

The White House under President Biden has issued a list of priorities, including "actions to control the Covid-19 pandemic." However, The Chinese government is a major obstacle to advance President Biden's policy agenda and I call on the Biden administration to should take the following measures:

1. Trace the origin of Covid-19 and hold China accountable

To contain the Covid-19 crisis, President Biden should launch a program to investigate the origin, early outbreak, and mishandling by the Chinese government. As the slow and delayed response to contain the start of the Covid-19 outbreak has caused a global pandemic and millions of deaths in the world, the Chinese government must be responsible for the losses.

The Chinese government has also interrupted the World Health Organization (WHO) team to investigate the origins of Covid-19 in the city of Wuhan. It denied WHO team member's entry to China, and demanded local officials to cover up the city's initial outbreaks. Families of people who died from the coronavirus in Wuhan were monitored, silenced by local authorities, and denied a meeting with WHO investigators.

Origin-tracing is a crucial step to combat the coronavirus. President Biden has promised to "expand the number of CDC’s deployed disease detectives so we have eyes and ears on the ground, including rebuilding the office in Beijing." Therefore, I urge the Biden administration to engage in the Covid-19 investigation and deploy necessary efforts to prevent China from interrupting the investigation.

2. Defeat China's malicious vaccination campaign

China is imposing mandatory shots of unsafe vaccination at home and scoring diplomacy points for selling their vaccines to other, more desperate countries.

An inhuman vaccination campaign is already underway that forces millions of innocent Chinese people to take the unsafe vaccine for human trials. Around 60-72% of the country's residents must be vaccinated for herd immunity.

A Chinese vaccine expert is referring to China's vaunted Sinopharm vaccine as the "most unsafe vaccine in the world," after it was found to produce 73 side effects, including severe side effects of "high blood pressure, loss of vision, loss of taste, delayed menstruation, and urinary incontinence."

China is also exporting hundreds of millions of vaccine doses to other countries to gain unfair commercial and diplomatic interests. In Brazilian clinical trials, a coronavirus vaccine developed by China's Sinovac is only 50.4% effective according to the latest results released by researchers, which is significantly less effective than needed for regulatory approval.

To combat Covid-19 and defeat China's malicious behaviors regarding Covid-19, I urge the Biden administration to take effective actions, such as sanctions on the Chinese officials who administered the unsafe vaccine, building a multi-national alliance to regulate China's vaccine export, revealing the truth of China's mal-intent on Covid-19 vaccination, and making the Chinese government pay for the damages it created to the innocent Chinese people and the world.
